Crystaltechno Ltd. manufactures optical spherical plano-convex lenses from synthetic Sapphire Al2O3 monocrystal, fused silica, glass and different types of optical crystals.
Sapphire plano-convex lenses are very hard and chemically resistant to alkali and acids. Sapphire lenses can be used at high temperatures; lenses have a good thermal stability and excellent transparency.
Sapphire Al2O3 optics - transparent in wide spectral range from 0.17 to 5.5 microns.
Sapphire spherical plano-convex lenses are widely used as focusing transfer optics.
