MATERIAL - CaCO3 (Calcite)
Crystaltechno LTD makes polarization prisms of different types from Calcite (CaCO3).
Calcite (CO3) is anisotropic optical crystal so it separates ordinary and extraordinary rays.
Polarization prisms are used in polarization photometers, spectrophotometers and polarimeters. So the polarization prisms have no color aberration, its indispensable in the UV and power optical beams.
