Crystaltechno Ltd. manufactures ZnSe right angle prisms (ZnSe RAP) from CVD grown Zinc Selenide polycrystalline material. Besides we make right angle prisms (RAP) from another optical crystals, glass and fused silica.
Right angle prisms are used in one of two orientations. The first is leg-hypotenuse-leg orientation. The second is hypotenuse-leg-leg-hypotenuse orientation.
ZnSe right angle prisms are used for beam turning, for minimizing of optical systems dimensions and image converting.

Large sizes of ZnSe right angle prisms are also available according to customer’s requirement.
We produce ZnSe right angle prisms (RAP) and also other ZnSe optical components from CVD grown ZnSe laser grade material. Basic characteristics of CVD Zinc Selenide laser grade material: transparency in spectral range (0.5 -20) microns, grain size (50 - 70) microns, index of absorption 0.0005 (1/cm) at 10.6 microns.

Because of high refractive index (n=2.4 at 10.6 microns), Fresnel losses of ZnSe polished surface are equal 17% (at one side) at 10.6 micron. We offer antireflection (AR) coating both for one wavelength (10.6 microns or another) and for the spectral range (3 - 12) microns.
