Crystaltechno Ltd. manufactures spherical biconvex lenses from Zinc Selenide (CVD ZnSe) material as well as from, glass, fused silica and different optical crystals
Zinc Selenide spherical biconvex lenses are widely used as focusing transfer optics.
Our company manufactures Zinc Selenide (ZnSe CVD) biconvex lenses for infrared applications including high power CO2 laser systems. CVD ZnSe biconvex lenses diameter (12.7 � 50.8) mm is available.
Two-sided AR coating of ZnSe biconvex lenses is available.

We produce ZnSe biconvex lenses from CVD grown Zinc Selenide laser grade material.
Basic characteristics of CVD Zinc Selenide laser grade material: transparency in spectral range (0.5 - 20) microns, grain size (50 -70 ) microns; index of absorption 0.0005 (1/cm) at 10.6 microns;
You can see spectral transmittance of ZnSe window (thickness 10 mm).
As ZnSe material has high refractive index (n = 2.4 at 10.6microns), Fresnel losses of Zinc Selenide polished surface are equal 17 % (at one side, at 10.6 microns), thus the transmission of ZnSe lens equals 68.9%. Crystaltechno Ltd. offers two sides antireflection AR coating both for spectral range (3 - 12) microns and for one wavelength (10.6 microns or another). Transmission of AR/AR coated ZnSe lenses - up to 99%.
