Crystaltechno Ltd. manufactures cylindrical lenses from fused silica, glass and different types of optical crystals, including ZnSe (Zinc Selenide) CVD.
We offer Zinc Selenide (ZnSe) plano-convex cylindrical lenses and plano-concave cylindrical lenses with round and rectangular design.
These products are particularly for infrared applications including CO2 laser optics.

We produce two kinds of Zinc Selenide (ZnSe) CVD material, which differ in spectral transmittance and grain size, namely
- Zinc Selenide (ZnSe) CVD laser grade, grain size (50-70) microns, index of absorption 0.0005 cm-1 at 10.6 microns, optical component dimensions (3 – 100) mm, thickness 20mm, used in high power CO2 laser optics, in medical applications.
- Zinc Selenide (ZnSe) CVD IR optical grade, grain size (20-100) microns, index of absorption 0.003 cm-1 at 10.6 microns, optical component dimensions (3 - 300) mm, thickness 20mm, used in protective windows and thermal imaging equipment, in industrial applications.
You can see both spectral transmittance of laser grade and IR optical grade uncoated polished windows (thickness 2 mm).
