ZnSe Cylindrical Plano-Convex Lenses
MATERIAL - ZnSe (Zinc Selenide) CVD
 |
Crystaltechno Ltd. manufactures cylindrical lenses from CVD ZnSe (Zinc Selenide) material as well as from fused silica, glass and different types of optical crystals.
CVD ZnSe (Zinc Selenide) cylindrical plano-convex lenses are widely used as focusing transfer optics for infrared IR applications including CO2 laser optics.
We offer ZnSe plano-convex cylindrical lenses with round and rectangular design (according to customer's specification).
AR/AR coating of CVD ZnSe plano-convex cylindrical lenses both for one wavelength (10.6 microns or another) and for the infrared IR spectral range (3-12) microns is available.
Perhaps you will find the required Zinc Selenide (CVD ZnSe) lenses and other ZnSe optics ZnSe optics at our stock, please see item Optical Crystals.

* Numerical parameters correspond to Lambda=10.6 microns (n=2.4).
We produce ZnSe cylindrical lenses from CVD grown ZnSe laser grade material. Basic characteristics of CVD ZnSe (Zinc Selenide) laser grade material: grain size (50 - 70) microns; index of absorption 0.0005 (1/cm) at 10.6 microns, transparency in spectral range ( 0.5- 20) microns,
Because of high refractive index (n = 2.4 at 10.6 microns), Fresnel losses of Zinc Selenide polished surface are equal 17 % (at one side), thus the transmission of Zinc Selenide polished lens equals 68.9% at 10.6 micron. We offer two sides antireflection (AR/AR) coating both for one wavelength (10.6 microns or another) and for the spectral range (3-12) microns. Transmission of AR/AR coated ZnSe CVD lenses - up to 99%.
You can see spectral transmittance of ZnSe window (thickness 10 mm).
