Camera is intended for registration of images of high speed phenomena and measurements of spatial-temporal parameters in linear sweep mode with maximum temporal resolution of ≤ 2 ps.

Main components of the camera:

• input lens (a set of lenses is an option);
• interchangeable slits;
• electromechanical shutter, optical system projecting the image of the slit onto the photocathode of the streak tube with a scale of 1:1, containing a set of combined neutral filters with a density of D = 0.5, 1 and 2;
• PV-207 time-analyzing streak tube with S-25 photocathode applied on a fiber-optic disk, two pairs of deflecting plates, one microchannel plate (MCP) and luminescent screen applied on a fiber-optic disk;
• EPM-81 brightness intensifier with microchannel plate (MCP), fiber optic disks at input and output;
• power supply unit;
• control unit;
• RU-07 CCD camera with fiber optic disk at input (1280×1024 pixels, 12-bit ADC, linear dynamic range 1000) with electric (≤ 5 m) or fiber optic (≤100 m) connection to PC;
• laptop with installed software;
• mounting plate for fixing the camera in the workplace.

Software:

Software allows to obtain visual and digital information about the registered process. Multi-window mode allows to work with multiple images. Images are saved in files, which, in addition to the image, can also contain metadata with information about the shooting conditions, as well as text comments.

Software Features:

• configuring camera triggering settings;
• correction of geometric and photometric distortions of the image, including the non-uniformity of the sweep coefficient;
• calculation of the numerical characteristics of the image (brightness, duration, size, speed);
• image transformations.

Images can be exported to a standard 12-bit TIFF format for further processing in third-party software.
